what is breathwork?
breathwork is an active meditation technique used to usher stagnant energy out of the body, help acknowledge and release difficult emotions and traumas, and decrease anxiety and stress by strengthening the parasympathetic nervous system’s response to triggers.
who is this space for?
this space is for self-identified black women. as we rarely find spaces that are tailored to speak to unique experiences, please respect the intention of this space and who the work is targeted for
how long is the virtual breathwork circle?
our sessions average 90 minutes.
i signed up and still haven’t received my link and session details.
session details for our virtual breathwork sessions are not sent out until after registration closes at 12pm eastern time the day of the session. you will not receive details to join until after that.
it’s past the registration cut off time and i still haven’t received my link to join.
check your spam folder and also double-check your order receipt and the e-mail address you used to sign up, as the e-mail you signed up with is where the link will be sent. if you still do not see the e-mail with session details, e-mail info@blackgirlsbreathing.com for assistance.
i signed up but can’t join live, will i receive a recording?
yes. all who sign up for our virtual breathwork circles will receive the session recording the following day automatically. please check your spam folder.
